All of AANE programming is currently online (with the exception of LifeNet, local MeetUp programs, and special events listed) and registration is required.. Blue text links to further information and registration pages. The following terms indicate the event's structure and intended audience. 

  • "Open" programs may have different participants joining from session to session. 
  • "Closed" programs have the same participants for a set number of sessions. 
  • LOCAL [City, State] programs are intended for those living in the vicinity of the indicated area. If LOCAL is not indicated, the program is available to those living anywhere. 
For programs that require a fee, financial assistance is available and no one will be turned away for the inability to pay. To inquire about financial assistance or for general inquiries, please email events@aane.org.

AANE LifeNet Program Welcomes New Staff

LifeNet is welcoming new staff to support its ever-growing program that currently supports 70 adults, ages 21-89, in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. Each team member brings a diverse range of skills, experiences, and perspectives to help autistic adults optimize their independence and build the lives they want.

AANE is currently seeking to fill the following volunteer positions:

  • Autistic adult mentors needed (aged 18-35 living in MA) to work with autistic mentees as part of the new pilot Simpatico Peer Mentoring Program
  • Help registrants log into virtual webinars and events
  • (CART)/closed captioning assistance for webinars and conferences
  • Event planning assistance for conferences
